Software developer and hardware builder.
I design and build projects across web backends, embedded electronics, and home automation - from a self-hosted Home Assistant setup and a 3D-printed server rack to an e-paper smart display.
About
I build software and hardware projects end to end - writing the backend, wiring the electronics, and designing the enclosure it lives in - usually to solve a problem I've run into myself, from monitoring a homelab to keeping a desktop environment exactly the way I want it.
Recent work spans a self-hosted smart home server, a multiplayer game built in Godot, a personal Linux desktop environment, and a couple of full-stack dashboards. Project details are below.

Currently
CanSat
Building a can-sized satellite with a small team for the CanSat competition. Another teammate and I are handling the electrical side and the radio link together - the onboard electronics, and the transmitter and antenna setup that carry telemetry back to the ground station as the can descends.
cykler-caelestia
Contributing to a customised build of the Caelestia shell for
Hyprland, including the install-deps.sh and
update.sh scripts that handle dependency setup and
keep it synced with upstream. Running it as a daily desktop on a
dual-boot CachyOS install.
Projects
selected workHome Assistant rack
Home Assistant, now hosted on the Proxmox machine after starting out on a dedicated Raspberry Pi 4 in a 10-inch rack designed and 3D-printed from scratch. Zigbee handles the smart home side via a SONOFF coordinator and Philips Hue bulbs.
Homelab dashboard
A Homarr dashboard for monitoring a small homelab - a Proxmox box running Docker and LXC containers alongside Home Assistant - built after Homepage's YAML configuration proved too slow to iterate on.
Multiplayer tag game
A 2D multiplayer tag game built in Godot, with host-authoritative networking over ENet. Most of the work involved resolving tag-back bugs caused by overlap signals firing in both directions at once.
Photo culling app
A local tool for reviewing and sorting a shoot quickly - FastAPI backend, vanilla JS frontend, SQLite underneath, built around keyboard shortcuts rather than a mouse.
